The Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus Juicer Review

Making bread is something I enjoy but sometimes it doesn’t rise, as I don’t knead my dough hard enough.

I decided to enlist the help of The Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus as it works especially well for mixing dough. It has dough control technology, which automatically adjusts the motor’s speed to fit the dough’s consistency. The technology is brand new and you will only find it on a Cuisinart machine.

Features:

The Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus is a 2 speed, 600-watt machine. It has a large 11 cup bowl capacity and is dishwasher safe. It features a pasta mixer and dough hook.

Looks Good…with great specifications…

The machine looks so cool. It comes in a sleek steel design and is compact in size. The exterior (steel) is easy to clean, and most of the food processor is dishwasher safe. While it is technically considered a compact food processor, it does weigh more than 12 pounds. The induction motor (612-watt) is the main reason it’s such a heavy food processor. However, it provides you with the needed power to process a wide range of food.

The processor includes a medium size slicing disc, shredding disc, chopping or mixing blade and a metal dough blade. It also has a durable 11 cup work bowl for large processing jobs, as well as a wide-mouth feed tube that can accommodate whole fruits and vegetables. It includes two different sizes of food pushers to use depending on the quantity of your food.

The sleek control panel is just that sleek and beautiful. There are only a few fingertip controls: on/off, pulse and dough button. The food processor also comes with a locking feature for the bowl and lid. The machine won’t start unless the lid is secured, ensuring that nothing will spill out of the bowl. Also, some of the tools need assembly and can be fiddly.

The Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus 11-cup food processor features dough control technology that no other machine has. The dough control feature automatically adjusts speeds to make consistent dough every time you mix, but there are no manual speed controls on the machine, which can limit your options when you are making other types of food.

Making Dough

The dough technology is this machine’s main feature but it does come with several additional attachments that make it a versatile machine. The dough button turns on the dough control technology that adjusts the speeds automatically, reducing the need for any other buttons. However, this means you won’t be able to manually adjust the speed of the machine.

Upsides to this machine. It is reliable and can slice, chop and shred well. It is reliable and powerful.

A downside to this machine is it is light so when it mixes it tends to jump around the kitchen countertop and it is noisy.

Summary

In conclusion, you get a lot for money and it is sleek, beautiful to look at and is absolutely brilliant. The Cuisinart Prep 11 Plus certainly is an amazing machine, I use it for dough/bread making specifically and it does this so well but it is so much more. It is an absolutely brilliant food processor that can handle anything.
